We believe deeply in the value of the conversation here and we will strive to be restrained in our moderation.
We do expect the conversation to be respectful of others. We will delete comments that are abusive, off-topic, use foul language or engage in personal attacks.
Given our tax-exempt status and the potentially political nature of the discussion we hope to foster, we will moderate all comments before they are posted.
We cannot allow comments that compare candidates’ positions on education to our three issues, nor can we allow comments that favor one candidate over another. If you wish to post a comment about a candidate’s education views and are not certain whether we can allow it, please send it to us at [email protected] and we will review it within 72 hours and offer our advice on it.
We will not censor comments based on political or ideological point of view. We want every point of view involved in this discussion.
We apologize for the limits we must place on our discussion in this space. As a charitable organization pushing for consideration of new public policy, we are breaking new ground. We know the IRS is watching us carefully, as it is required to do. But we believe the value of the discourse we hope to inspire balances the risks to our tax-exempt status.
