I agree! As a west-coaster, what was great about H&M is that when you made the trip to NYC, you could pick out a few unique things from H&M and then wear them back here w/o fear of running into yourself on the street, in the office, etc. Now, everyone shops at H&M (and Zara) and even if they get new merchandise everyday, I would still fear being a clone. They should have adopted an Ikea like approach and maintained fewer “destination” stores.
